Junior Creative

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a creative, curious, and culturally switched-on Junior Creative to join our team. Think of this as more than “just a design job.” It’s a chance to tell stories visually, work across a variety of creative projects, and even dabble in the exciting world of cultural insights and AI-powered analytics.

This hybrid role is perfect if you love balancing hands-on design with fresh, big-picture ideas. Most of your time will be spent as our go-to in-house designer, creating top-notch deliverables for client projects and elevating our marketing materials. But you’ll also collaborate with our cultural insights and analytics team, bringing life to visual data and our AI platform, Visible.

Founded in 2017 by Charles & Mark, G=mc2 is a growth studio on a mission to revolutionise the way brands & businesses approach insight, marketing, and brand development to unlock growth. Spanning London to South Africa and Hyderabad, we help all kinds of brands (beauty, health insurance, you name it) to see and achieve tangible growth. Our secret sauce? An in-house system of machine learning tools that decode the ever-changing world of culture, people's lives, and the future, transforming our clients into market makers.

Why we need you?

We know great design makes a difference. Whether it’s crafting a stunning presentation, a scroll-stopping Instagram post, or visualising complex data in an accessible way, design is key to how we tell stories. That’s where you come in –to help us make every piece of work visually exceptional.

What you’ll do

Here’s a snap shot of what the role will look like:

Design & Creative Content (Most of you time)

  • Work with our templates and brand identity to deliver polished, professional designs for client projects.

  • Create marketing content that makes us stand out – from Instagram posts to LinkedIn graphics, Squarespace updates, and even video edits.

  • Partner with teams across the business to ensure all visuals hit the mark.

Collaboration with Insights & Analytics Team

  • Bring cultural and visual trends to life by contributing to Visible, our AI-powered visual platform.

  • Experiment with ways to visualise data and help us tell richer, more engaging stories.

General Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with freelance designers – from briefing to ensuring their work complements ours.

  • Stay on top of visual and cultural trends and bring that inspiration into everything you create.

  • Push boundaries by coming up with fresh, innovative design ideas.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who ticks most of these boxes:

Must-Haves

  • A portfolio that makes us go wow.

  • A natural eye for design – you know what works and how to make things look amazing.

  • Confidence working with our templates and pushing them to their full potential.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop (or similar tools) and basic video editing skills.

  • Strong PowerPoint skills to create visually compelling presentations.

  • A curiosity for cultural trends, with a sense of what’s relevant and fresh.

  • Passionate about the power of design to inspire and tell meaningful stories.

Bonus Points If You Have

  • HTML experience or web design skills.

  • Experience with Canva, Squarespace, or Adobe Lightroom.

  • A personal portfolio website that impresses us.

  • Keynote or Google Slides experience.

  • Creative writing or copywriting skills (if you’ve got a way with words, even better).

  • Filming or video production experience – we’d love someone who can bring ideas to life through multimedia.
