Strategist | Growth Strategy & Data Analytics

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Strategist to be at the beating heart of the content and insights we develop for clients. This specific role will have a focus in commercial strategy and data analytics – a core part of our business.

Founded in 2017 by Charles & Mark, G=mc2 is a growth studio on a mission to revolutionise the way brands & businesses approach insight, marketing, and brand development to unlock growth. Spanning London to South Africa and Hyderabad, we help all kinds of brands (beauty, health insurance, you name it) to see and achieve tangible growth. Our secret sauce? An in-house system of machine learning tools that decode the ever-changing world of culture, people's lives, and the future, transforming our clients into market makers.

What you’ll do

Here’s a snap shot of what the role will look like:

  • You will be expected to make sense of multiple sources of data that will enable our clients to accelerate their brand or business growth.

  • You’ll get close to the nitty gritty of the information and working with the team to create strategic and tactical recommendations on how brands can grow in the future.

  • You will be a central content developer on projects and have lots of opportunity to manage day to day running of projects and present in client meetings.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We’re looking for someone who ticks most of these boxes:

  • Typically has 2-4 years working either in or across both growth consultancy, research leadership or client-side marketing roles.

  • A strong grounding and expertise in the discipline of data analytics, and a keen interest in how data can power new ways of understanding the world around us.

  • Has led data analytics exercises for client projects, whether that is leading a research component of a project, a sole piece of data analysis or market sizing.

  • Enjoys the combination of analytical thinking and research, commercial storytelling, and marketing strategy & implementation.

  • Bonus points: You have an eye on emerging artificial intelligence and machine learning developments
